For our accommodation arrangements we will be staying at property owned by The Dunvegan Hotel.
Located only a 9 Iron from The Old Course, and within a 2-minute walk from the centre of the medieval city St Andrews, there is a total of 5 en suite bedrooms each with 2 beds, each furnished to a high standard and include power ‘rain’ showers, Comfortable beds, flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi and much more. (Just look how close the Dunvegan is to the Old Course in the map below!
In addition to this we will be using Cleveden House, which also boasts in total 6 twin en-suite rooms, and the Auchterlonie Suite which is a 3 bed apartment also owned by the Dunvegan.
The Dunvegan is located right in the heart of St. Andrews and has one of the most famous bars in all of golf – Golfers Corner!
Despite all the perceptions of food in the UK, and in Scotland, we will be in for a right treat when it comes to our time to dine. It will not be Irn-Bru and deep fried mars bars, or haggis! We will have the choice (albeit need to book ahead) of Michelin star food at The Grange Inn, to some great steak at Rogue! Without doubt there will be those who will want to indulge in some Indian cuisine, of which there will be no shortage of options, along with a range of alternate European fare!
